Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Kips Technology ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on Kips Template ("the Service") to deliver the editor, remember your preferences, and — when monetization is enabled — show advertising. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What we mean by "cookies"

"Cookies" here include classic HTTP cookies as well as the browser-native local-storage APIs the editor relies on: localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and Cache Storage (used by the service worker). They all store small pieces of data on your device.

2. What we use, by category

CategoryPurposeStorageRetention
Strictly necessary Save your designs, undo history, theme, and language preferences so the editor works between visits. IndexedDB, localStorage Until you clear your browser data or the project is deleted.
Performance & offline shell Cache the app shell, locales, and assets so the editor opens instantly and works offline. Cache Storage (Service Worker) Up to 30 days, or until the next deploy invalidates the cache version.
Authentication (optional) If you sign in for cloud sync or team workspaces, a session token is stored locally to keep you signed in. localStorage Until sign-out or session expiry.
Advertising (optional) If a deployment of the Service has Google AdSense or AdMob enabled, those services may set cookies and read device identifiers to serve ads, frequency-cap them, and report aggregate performance. Third-party cookies set by Google Per Google's policies (typically up to 13 months).
Analytics (optional, off by default) If a deployment opts in, anonymized event counts may be sent to a measurement endpoint to spot crashes and usage patterns. We do not enable analytics on the public build by default. Provider-dependent Provider-dependent

3. Advertising partners

When AdSense or AdMob is enabled on a given deployment, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and personalize ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites or apps. You can:

4. How to clear or block cookies

Every modern browser lets you inspect, block, or wipe cookies and local storage. The Service stores all of its data on your device — clearing site data from the browser settings will reset preferences, sign you out, and (if the design isn't exported) erase unsaved drafts. Make sure to export important work first.

5. Do Not Track

The Service respects the browser's "Do Not Track" signal where present and does not enable optional analytics in that case. Strictly necessary local storage continues to work because the editor cannot function without it.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our cookie usage changes. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
